WAR Braves Blizzard to Name and Shame Fur Retailers and the ASPCA in NYC

On Saturday, December 19th, Win Animal Rights activists braved the wintry elements to protest those that torture animals for their skins as well as those that lie about killing innocent adoptable animals.

Demo #1: Prada - Fifth Avenue

To start off the day, activists gathering outside of Prada to protest their continued killing of fur bearing animals. Every year over fifty million animals suffer undeniably so people can get off wearing their skins and Prada gladly supports such a gruesome industry. The chants were loud and clear. 50 skinned alive animals, one fur coat! Protesters received a great deal of support from passers by, including quite a few thumbs up.

Demo #2: Escada - Fifth Avenue

Following Prada, protesters crossed the street to pay a visit to a personal favorite of theirs, Escada. As the failing company continues to feel the heat in other parts of the world, the countless animals are brutally killed and skinned for vanity. "It's your fur! Your fault! Your greed! Your fault!" Thousands of pedestrians passed by the busy demonstration on Fifth Avenue, as activists educated them about the perverts running Escada.

Demo #3: MaxMara - Madison Avenue

After the Escada protest, demonstrators traveled up Madison Avenue to participate in another global weekend of action, this time against the sadists at Max Mara. Hey Max Mara what do you say, how did you torture your fur today? Gassing, trapping, anal electrocution! Be warned Max Mara. Protesters will return again and again to confront you as long as the corpses of innocent animals hang on your racks and shelves.

Demo #4: ASPCA Headquarters

Content with their naming and shaming of the heinous animal abusers, activists switched their attention to the ASPCA. Activists at the silent protest were joined by other concerned citizens disappointed with the ASPCA for their continued lies and deceit. This past week the organization chose to execute another pit bull, Max, even though he was also offered a place at a sanctuary. Activists were able to engage a great deal of people in the area, as nearly every pedestrian reached for a flyer or stopped to find out what was wrong with the ASPCA.

Demo #5: Ed Sayres - CEO & President ASPCA

After wrapping up at the office, protesters strolled over to the home of Ed Sayers, President of the ASPCA and an individual directly responsible for the pitbulls' deaths (though this demonstration was far from quiet). "For Oreo we will fight. How does Sayers sleep at night?" Again protesters were able to talk to neighbors about Sayers covering up the truth and protecting the unlicensed animal behaviorist Victoria Wells to save face. As much as activists do not want to protest against the ASPCA because of all the good work the organization does, they feel it is a necessity. Transparency is a goal that should never be overlooked.
