WAR: Back to CEO Baker and Pfizer Top Brass

Demo #1 - Andrew Baker, CEO of Huntingdon Life Sciences

A dozen activists gathered at the Central Park West luxury hi-rise apartment building of one of New York City’s most notorious villains, Andrew Baker of Huntingdon Life Sciences. As always our primary objective here is to educate the public and to set the record straight.

Andrew Baker has visited most of the residents in his building to tell them a litany of lies about how animals are not tortured, mutilated and murdered at Huntingdon Life Sciences. He also tells his neighbors that he no longer lives in the building since his supposed divorce from wife Susan Baker. Win Animal Rights has positive proof that Andrew Baker does in fact reside in the building with his wife Susan.

Legal documents prove that Baker is nothing but a bald faced liar. Neighbors have told us about the antics of party-girl Susan Baker and vendors who provide personal services for the Bakers have shared intimate details about their buying habits and social life. Once again as we raised our voices in chants, we watched building residents gathered in front of their windows, cheer us on and support us in our cause.

Demo #2 - Jeffrey Meckler, Pfizer - Corporate Finance

A short walk from Baker’s is the classic brownstone apartment of Pfizer Executive, Jeffrey Meckler. The lit up windows and traffic in and out of the building led us to believe that Jeffrey was at home during our demonstration. Voices were raised on behalf of the 500 animals killed today and every day at Huntingdon Life Sciences. Companies like Pfizer allow the killing and the horror to continue unabated. Pfizer management has not even had the decency to address our concerns. Consequently, we will continue to call on the homes of their management and executive directors until we are satisfied that they have gotten the message. Your money, Your greed, Your contracts….YOUR FAULT!

Demo #3 - David Shedlarz, Pfizer – Vice Chairman

The next stop took us clear crosstown to the fashionable and trendy Upper East Side of Manhattan. There we took our positions in front of the wide circular drive and the ostentatious towering building where Pfizer Vice Chairman, David Shedlarz resides on the 29th floor. Although his apartment is far enough from the street level to make it difficult to be heard, we are heartened by the response of David’s neighbors. Many have come out to ask for literature and have told us that they will speak to their neighbor on our behalf.

Our new Pfizer brochure includes a listing of all of Pfizer’s brand name products, both prescription and over the counter. We also list Pfizer’s animal care products. We found that sympathetic and compassionate consumers were very interested to hear which products were produced and marketed by Pfizer. Many said they would switch to other brands!

One very kind neighbor alerted us to the fact that the parks that are adjacent to David’s building are actually community parks and public property. He has invited us to stay for coffee in the park and we promised that next time we are in the neighborhood, we would take him up on it.

Demo #4 - Alan Levin, Pfizer – Chief Financial Officer

After a long afternoon, activists debated whether to call it a night, but instead made their way to the often visited home of Pfizer CFO, Alan Levin. Instead of a short quiet demo, activists mustered all of their strength and their passion to hold a loud and spirited demonstration. What could have potentially been our weakest protests instead was our loudest and most energetic demo of the day. We’ll be back, Alan Levin! 70,000 animals imprisoned in the hellhole of Huntingdon Life Sciences demand that we never give up and never give in. For the animals, we will FIGHT!
