WAR Participates in Global Day of Action Against HLS Customer Bristol-Myers Squibb

Demo #1: Jeremy Levin - Executive - Bristol-Myers Squibb

Activists took to the streets on a cold Sunday afternoon to educate the public about Bristol-Myers Squibb's bloody ties with the animal abusers at Huntingdon Life Sciences. What started as an ordinary day of action turned into a rather interesting time for the demonstrators.

The first target of the day was a new face, Jeremy Levin, an executive from Bristol-Meyers. Much to the protesters' surprise, Mr. Levin's neighbors were an exceptionally unruly bunch. Unmoved by the plight of defenseless animals, mutiple people came outside to scream, tear placards, and even assault activists.

The mob threatened to call the cops, hoping the authorities would side against the animals. Their faces became blood red when the police rightfully stood with the Constitution and raised no objections to the peaceful protesters. Because the residents at 110 Riverside were so accommodating to the activists, they may very well have made Mr. Levin's house a regular target.

If his neighbors had been intelligent enough to take some flyers, they would have realized they wouldn't be bothered if Bristol-Myers kicked HLS to the curb. Hey guys, there's still time; do the smart thing and speak to Mr. Levin.

Demo #2: Lamberto Andreotti - Executive Management - Bristol-Myers Squibb

The second demonstration took place at a building regularly visited by protesters, the home of Lamberto Andreotti. As President of Worldwide Pharmaceuticals for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mr. Andreotti has a considerable degree of influence in the company. Activists let him know what they thought about his role in the torture and death of thousands of animals each year in the bowels of Huntingdon Life Sciences. "500 animals died today, Lamberto Andreotti is to blame!"

Unbeknownst to activists, however, a recital was taking place in an adjacent building to benefit a local non-profit organization. When event organizers rushed over and alerted the protesters of the situation, the demonstrators voluntarily opted for a silent protest, not wanting to disturb the fundraiser any longer.

Later on, as activists packed up their signs, the recital coordinators stopped over once more, thanking them for being so considerate. So thankful in fact that they took a stack of flyers to give out to all the attendees! But be advised Mr. Andreotti, next time activists won't be as quiet. Until Bristol-Meyers Squibb gives HLS the boot, you'll be hearing from WAR again.

Bristol-Myers Squibb's world corporate headquarters is located in New York City at: 345 Park Avenue, New York, New York 10154. Their main phone number is: 1.212.546.4000. The Bristol-Myers Squibb executive management team operates out of these offices. Although they don't have many employees at this location, the ones that are there are important and very influential. Please contact them and ask them to end their association with Huntingdon Life Sciences.
