Sunday, November 9, 2008 Tripleheader Sunday: HLS Puppy Killer Baker, Fur Scum Basso and Novartis Drug Lord Watson In the cold of November 9th, Animal rights crusaders braved the winds in order to bring shame to those who abuse and exploit animals and enlightenment to those who would witness the demonstrations. Demo #1: Andrew Baker, Chief Puppy Killer – Huntingdon Life Sciences Activists gathered up outside of Andrew Baker’s blood soaked penthouse and gave him an earful of angry and spirited chants… “For the beagle, for the mouse – We are here outside your house!” as well as numerous rounds of “500 animals died today! Andrew Baker is to blame!” This spot is normally a hotbed of police activity once the protesters get going, but apparently on this day they had “real” crimes to attend to and were off elsewhere. Demo #2: Dennis Basso – FUR SCUM Extraordinaire Next stop on the list was the posh home of Dennis Basso, whose boutiques sell nothing but the tortured and skinned remains of furry animals. Basso is an unapologetic and greedy monster, caring nothing of the countless sentient animals he kills, only of the profit it puts in his already overflowing accounts. Dennis Basso’s neighbors felt the heat and the anger as the large group of animal lovers gave voice to their anger, spending the afternoon naming and shaming Basso for his dirty deeds. Demo #3: Dorothy Watson – Dorothy Watson, General Counsel for Novartis (HLS Collaborator) Once again, the NYC activists headed to the home of Dorothy Watson, whose company Novartis plays an integral role in keeping Huntingdon Life Sciences in business. Without Novartis’ contracts, HLS would be close to finished. Once again, the public was shocked and outraged to learn that a woman so cold and so callous lived in their neighborhood and was involved in the systematic torture and murder of monkeys, cats, kittens, rats, puppies and ferrets. Again, the activists left with the clear message that they'd "Be Back" and, judging by how many return visits Ms. Watson has received, it's clear that these activists aren't lying - they won't EVER give up. |
