Demo Report - October 30, 2005 Sunday in NYC on Fifth Avenue A dozen activists from Win Animal Rights spent a lovely Fall afternoon sending a message to someone who lives on the proceeds of blood money. Some manned a literature table at the Fifth Avenue residence of Kenneth Greiner, CEO of Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher and Company (DGHM). Others held graphic signs of bloody tortured animals and still others held a banner. Fifth Avenue is a great location for educational outreach as the street is busy and bustling with shoppers and strollers. Passersby stopped to look at the video "The Truth" in horror, as they witnessed the punching of a 4 month old beagle puppy in the face and the cutting open of a live monkey strapped to a cold steel surgical table. A massive amount of flyers and literature was distributed and once again neighbors asked for extra flyers to distribute to their friends. |
