Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher & Co. in WAR's crosshairs
Activists from Win Animal Rights (WAR) once again visited the offices
of Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher and Co. (DGHM) at their
prestigious Fifth Avenue address. Hundreds of flyers were
distributed educating DGHM's building neighbors and passersby about
the over 615,000 shares of LSRI stock that DGHM still holds. Many
stopped to chat with demonstrators in between loud bursts of
chanting.
Most, who read the pamphlet and looked at the posters, were compelled
by the graphic photos of the mutilated animals butchered at
Huntingdon Life Sciences. For those that are immune to the suffering
of animals, we explained the sheer stupidity of holding onto stock
that has almost halved in value in the past 2 months. Flyers included
pictures of the DGHM management team (taken right from their own
website) and personal details on one executive, with a promise of
more to come.
After dinner, the activists who staged the office demo, joined with
other protesters and moved to the home of DGHM principal, Kenneth
Greiner. Loud chanting of the large group attracted the attention of
many neighbors and shoppers. Luckily, Ken lives on a very lively New
York City thoroughfare. Again, hundreds of flyers were distributed,
urging people to contact Kenneth Greiner to voice their disgust at
his continued investment in blood money at Huntingdon Life Sciences.
One of his neighbors apparently shares Kenneth's insensitivity to
suffering and pain. This woman took the flyers that another neighbor
had laid in the lobby for us and threw them out the door. Luckily,
the next person through the door was kind enough to let us put them
back in a place where everyone entering the building would see them.
Most of Ken's friends and neighbors were horrified to learn of his
investment in animal torture and suffering and many promised to speak
to him about it. Some also took a quantity of flyers and promised to
distribute them within the building.
The night was complete when we spotted a building resident who looked
just like, and even more importantly, acted like he was Kenneth
Greiner in the flesh. He scurried into the building and once behind
locked glass doors, he ridiculed and taunted protesters by tearing up
our flyers featuring his picture and his personal details.
Demonstrators nearly took down the doors as they pressed bloody
graphic posters to the glass as they shouted…"Your money, your
fault…..your investment, your fault……blood money, your fault" The
night ended with a loud and rousing chorus of "WE WILL NEVER BACK
DOWN, UNTIL THEY STOP THE KILLING" and promises to keep returning
until DGHM wipes the blood off their hands by dumping Huntingdon Life
Science.
On Friday evening activists paid a late night visit to Ellen Futter director of Bristol Myers Squibb. For some reason she didn't want to see us up to talk about her puppykilling involvement in HLS? With her apartment on the second floor she go a load dose of the smallest fraction of what she deserves. I'm sure all of her neighbors on the block got to hear she was a murdering scumbag. Flyers we given, distributed and everywhere asking people to call her and tell her to cut her ties with Huntindon as her doorman went frantic calling everyone under the sun. Ellen this is only the beginning. We never give up and we always win.
