Demo Report When they say good things come in small packages we realized that sometimes good things really come in small irritating packages. On Sunday several of the toughest activists in NYC hit the streets to rally up other people who were attending a walk for animals at Columbus Circle. It wasn't long before they took the out reach right up to the face of the The American Museum of Natural History to teach Ellen Futter president of the museum and director for Bristol-Myers Squibb a lesson on embarrassment. Activist lined the sidewalks yelling and chanting. Some would be patrons turned away, some cried at the horrors of HLS that was uncovered and as always security went nuts. Activist unrestrained with the energy for the animals moved there way up Central Park West to the posh expensive home that is STILL owned by Andrew Baker but seldom visited because of all those annoying screaming people and pissed off neighbors. Demonstrations went on as people in the park watched over the wall to see what was going on. So long as Andrew Baker is working for, invested in, or owns the leased property of HLS he will continue to be nervous and timid about going to his multi million dollar home because of activist pressure. |
