WAR Ends the Summer on Central Park West

Demo #1 - Andrew Baker, CEO - Huntingdon Life Sciences

WAR held their monthly demo at the home of Huntingdon Life Sciences chief scumbag and puppy killer, CEO Andrew Baker. After a short absence, activists were gratified to return to Central Park West to find a whole new group of protesters joining the demonstrations. Our 15’ banner reading ‘ANDREW BAKER PUPPY KILLER’ was unfurled drawing the eyes of both pedestrians walking along CPW and vehicular traffic. Voice rang out, strong and loud, calling attention the Baker’s crimes against animals and humans. Many stopped to take literature and many promised to call or write Mr. Baker.

Demo #2 - Nicole Brier, Sanofi Pasteur - Liaison

Just three short blocks away, activists visited the quaint brownstone home of Nicole Brier on West 90th Street. Activists called on Nicole to come down to address the issues, but their was once again no response. So, voices were again raised calling attention to the relationship between Huntingdon Life Sciences and their good customer Sanofi Aventis and Sanofi Pasteur. Activists promised to return regularly until Sanofi cuts it’s ties with the puppy killers at HLS.

Demo #3 - Dale Bernstein, Senior V.P. – NYSE

Enjoying one of the most supportive neighborhoods in the city, activists took their protest to the West End Avenue high rise building that Dale Bernstein of the NYSE calls her home. Many of her neighbors stopped to take flyers and ask questions about the connection between the NYSE and Huntingdon Life Sciences. After explaining that the recent listing of HLS (trading as LSR) on the Arca exchange was not only a betrayal of the animals killed at HLS every day, but that it also jeopardized the stock investing public by the NYSE betrayal of the financial transparency trust. Loud voices were heard from blocks away as the activists gave voice to their anger.

Demo #4 - Rachel Robbins, V. P. & General Counsel – NYSE

The last stop of the afternoon was the home of Rachel Robbins, also on West End Avenue. Activists were especially keen on venting their feelings to Rachel since she is General Counsel to the NYSE and likely was personally involved in negotiating the deal that ushered LSR on the Exchange. Since the NYSE has become a publicly traded ‘for profit’ corporation, they appear to be sacrificing their responsibility to the investing public to avoid litigation from the bully boys at HLS. Or maybe she just succumbed to Brian Cass’ constant whining and carping. Large graphic banners and posters showed Rachel’s neighbors what kind of business the NYSE was promoting.
