Friday, August 22, 2008 East Rev Benefit Show for WAR Win Animal Rights would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to EastRev productions for honoring us with a benefit show. The crowd was largely sympathetic to the cause of animal liberation and WAR was very well received. The predominantly young crowd seemed eager to learn of WAR’s goals and many vowed to participate in the next Andrew Baker demonstration. Posters were hung on the walls and a literature table was manned throughout the evening. A DVD player showing action packed SHAC campaign videos including the “Time For Action” series, Strike Back and the ALF film “Behind the Mask” were enjoyed by all.  Once again, we would like to take this opportunity to thank EastRev and all of the bands that have welcomed WAR into their space. Also, thanks to the groups that came out to table the event....ABC Black Cross and A New World In Our Hearts Collective. Please join WAR in supporting animal liberation, our political prisoners and all social justice causes. A special thank you to Chris of East Rev and Jose of Rabia. Love and Respect.
