Sunday, June 14, 2009 WAR Continues to Pound Huntingdon Life Sciences Partner Bristol-Myers Squibb For the fourth weekend in a row, Win Animal Rights demonstrated outside the homes of the highest-ranking Bristol-Myers Squibb executives in response to the company's reprehensible ties to the animal abusing scumbags at Huntingdon Life Sciences. Demo #1: James Cornelius - Chairman & CEO - Bristol-Myers Squibb Activists arrived at the home of James Cornelius, Chairman and CEO of BMS unsure of how the Time Warner guards would react. It was last week that security hatched a (failed) attempt to (illegally) barricade protesters for exposing the truth about their tenant's despicable dealings. It seemed as though the previous encounter took the wind out of their sails, as the guards weakly tried to convince the protesters that leafleting was against the law! Activists naturally brushed them off and resumed business. "Stop the murder, stop the pain! James Cornelius is to blame! It's your job! Your fault!" Pedestrians were shocked by the gruesome images of mutilated rabbits and kittens. The undercover footage of beagles being punched in the face and HLS employees stepping on the heads of primates certainly did not help Cornelius' image either. After viewing the truth about Huntingdon Life Sciences, people were very interested in learning more about what could be done to stop the atrocities committed in the name of greed and corruption. ![]() Demo #2: Lamberto Andreotti - President & COO - Bristol-Myers Squibb After another successful demonstration at Columbus Circle, activists marched uptown to confront Lamberto Andreotti, BMS President. According to BMS, he's allegedly leading "the company's operational transformation to a next-generation BioPharma." Due to his company's continued reliance on HLS, it's clear that Andreotti is not concerned with such pesky things as ethics. Not to worry, because activists were out on Central Park West to tell the world what dastardly deeds he was up to. As usual, pedestrians were ready to reach for a flier and stop at the information table to sign a petition or donate some funds. Activists received more thumbs-up, honks, and "thank you's"' than they could count. Throughout the demonstration, activists were also forced to contend with numerous horse drawn carriages circling Central Park. Protesters took the opportunity to shame both the drivers and their passengers for participating in such flagrant animal abuse. Activists repeatedly saw drivers speaking on the phone while operating the carriages, displaying a total disregard for both the safety of the horses as well as those people in the general area. There's no excuse for animal abuse! ![]() |
