Sunday, May 24, 2009 WAR Returns to HLS CEO Baker & Refocuses on HLS Customers Novartis and Bristol-Myers Squibb Demo #1: Andrew Baker - Chairman & CEO – Huntingdon Life Sciences Win Animal Rights took advantage of a splendid Sunday afternoon to send greetings to some of the puppy-killing scumbags residing throughout the city. The first protest occurred at where else but the posh residence of Andrew Baker, chief animal abuser at Huntingdon Life Sciences. The animals don't get a reprieve, and neither should you, Andy. Activists shouted far and wide across Central Park West, alerting all that this coward pays his rent by butchering animals. Throughout the demonstration, numerous tour buses drove by, taking pictures and videos of the protest. They certainly took notice of the groovy "Andrew Baker Puppy Killer" banner on display. Nearly every passerby took a flier, with many eager to learn about the Hitler of animal killers. Being a sociopath probably isn't a good PR move. Hey, it's the truth. Demo #2: Jeremy Levin - Executive - Bristol-Myers Squibb Satisfied with naming and shaming Baker, protesters marched down to the home of Jeremy Levin, Bristol-Myers Squibb executive. Many neighbors and pedestrians expressed kind words of support after hearing that their neighbor's company was bankrolling disgusting animal abuse. One woman came over, and after hearing of the campaign, encouraged the activists to do more demonstrations! As activists wrapped up the protest, one resident from a neighboring building stormed out and demanded to see a permit. When the protesters didn't have a copy of the Bill of Rights to hand to him, he stormed off and threatened to call the cops. Psst, they already knew! After retrieving his camera he followed the activists and became increasingly belligerent. His BMS drugs probably began to wear off as he soon ran back into his house without warning. It's a shame they couldn't get his name since he is due to receive the asshole of the week award. Hey dude, if you want those pesky protesters out of your hair, talk to Jeremy. ![]() Demo #3: Dorothy Watson – General Counsel - Novartis After the altercation, activists decided to close out the day with a Broadway protest outside the home of Dorothy Watson, VP and General Counsel for Novartis. The busy sidewalk did not disappoint, and hundreds of pedestrians took fliers. Many were a little peeved to say the least to find out that such a horrible woman lived in the area. Two high school students stopped by to inquire about the protest and one of them informed the activists that they had done a school project on animal rights. Future activists are awesome. Hey Dorothy, having tons of pissed off neighbors is definitely not fun. Dump HLS as a client and do something respectful for a change. With Institutional Investors dropping like flies, HLS customers are once more in the limelight. As long as Bristol-Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, and other corrupt companies continue to prop up a place that wants only to torture animals to death, they will continue to see weekly protests. The ball is in your court. Video Clips: Andrew Baker - Huntingdon Life Sciences |
