Special Guest Demo Report - Received from Florida Activists

Another Florida Staples Location Targetted

"Monday, May 19th, over 15 animal rights activists (and an pro-animal rights animal) staged their fourth demonstration this month against Staples in Tarpon Springs, FL, for their business relationship with the puppy killers at Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Again, many patrons of Staples turned away, disgusted, to go to the office supply store that doesn't enable animal abuse, just down the street.

Our new megaphone was put to good use, letting everyone know in the shopping center that "500 animals die a day" and "Staples business is to blame". Activists held signs, chanted, engaged in dialogue with potential customers, and distributed informational flyers detailing the atrocities inside HLS and Staples' role in supporting their business.

The more people learn about Staples' shady business, the more they're appalled to hear of the cruel activities Staples services, and the more Staples' "bottom line" decreases. Live up to the ethics your company supposedly strives for, Staples, and severe your ties with HLS!"

Note from WAR: It is heartening for New York City activists to see other grassroots collectives, around the country, activate on this campaign. Thank you!
