Keeping up the Pressure on HLS Supplier Staples & Customer Novartis

Demo #1 - Staples @ Union Square (HLS Supplier)

Continuing applying the pressure to Staples to stop supplying animal abusers, activists gathered at the Union Square staples to shame them for their stubborn persistence to continue their murderous ways. Activists chanted and called attention to the cruelty that Staples supports for over an hour as a parade was passing by on the same street.

Needless to say, this demo got a lot of attention from parade goers who were eager to find out what they could do to stop the killing at Huntingdon Life Sciences. It's easy: Stop shopping at Staples and give their HQ a call and tell them why you're boycotting their office supplies. It's that easy.

Demo #2 - Wayne Merkelson, Novartis V.P. & General Counsel

A short walk away, activists visited the building of their new best friend Wayne Merkelson, who works for Novartis. Novartis contracts Huntingdon Life Sciences to perform brutal animal abusing tests, and therefore Wayne Merkelson has blood on his hands.

Normally this building is quick to call police (who then can do nothing but be annoyed at being called away from crimes to investigate a peaceful protest and tell activists to carry on) - but this time it seems the tenants of this building have learned that complaining about law abiding protesters is pointless. Perhaps next they'll actually take their frustrations up with Wayne Merkelson and tell him to drop his contracts with HLS. Once Novartis cuts their ties activists can stop the home demonstrations - it's that easy.

Demo #3 - Roger Waltzman, Novartis Sales & Marketing

Onward and upward to a street near Penn Station, activists paid a visit to Roger Waltzman, also with Novartis. Roger felt the force of a true home demo this afternoon - the first visit to his apartment building being merely a small silent demonstration - a calling card if you will.

Voices boomed up and down the street as activists shouted up at the fifth floor windows where Waltzman lives. A sheepish head poked out for a second and quickly vanished, embarrassed at the fact that activists had shown up on his block, shaming him for his involvement in animal cruelty. Knowing that he was indeed at home made the demo all the louder as activists were determined to get their message across to him and his neighbors.

Rest assured, Roger, activists will be back again and again with loud spirited protests as long as Novartis continues to pay for animal abuse at Huntingdon Life Sciences.
