Sunday, February 21, 2010 Escada - Dennis Basso - MaxMara Fur Protests in New York City New York City Activists Declare Fur Unacceptable and Turn Up the Heat on both Purveyors and Wearers of Fur  Demo #1: Escada - 715 Fifth Avenue NYC Activists kept up the pressure against Escada for their sale and use of fur and fur trim on this brisk Sunday afternoon, protesting the Fifth Avenue Escada store with loud and spirited voices. Taking a stand against the abuse of fur bearing animals and dropping fur from their lines is the compassionate thing to do. Animals are skinned alive, anally electrocuted, stomped, drowned, and often skinned alive with the animal merely being stunned and not killed, all in the name of the rich's vanity. Escada, activists won't back down until you drop fur from your clothing or until you shut your doors for good.  Demo #2: Dennis Basso - 765 Madison Avenue Activists in New York City pay a visit to Dennis Basso's Madison avenue salon of horrors as they're still outraged at his disgusting sale of fur in his blood drenched boutiques. Dennis Basso is a disgusting pervert who thinks nothing of ripping the skins off of 50 or 100 animals to make one filthy coat for the rich and vain women of New York City. 100 slaughtered animals- ONE fur coat! Animals are skinned alive, anally electrocuted, stomped, drowned, and often skinned alive with the animal merely being stunned and not killed, all in the name of the rich's vanity. Shame on Basso! Shame on fur hags!  Demo #3: MaxMara - 813 Madison Avenue Activists in New York City re-visit the Madison Avenue MaxMara store to educate the public and protest Max Mara's use of fur and fur trimmed items in their stores and on their website. Animals used for fur are raised in horrendous conditions and are brutally abused, then murdered by the tens of thousands for Max Mara customer vanity. Animals killed for fur are stomped to death, drowned, bludgeoned, anally and genitally electrocuted and have their necks snapped - many are skinned alive and left to wither and die. MaxMara, the protests continue globally until you make the ethical choice and drop fur from your stores.
