WAR Protests More HLS Financial Backers
WPIX-TV of New York City and IndieGenius Productions Film

Demos
Location #1
After catching the building management in their lies about whether Jeff Barker, Executive V.P. of Bank of America, lived in the building, we decided to go back and pay another visit. This time we had 2 film crews. One from local network news station WPIX-TV and the other a documentary film crew.

As we began, so did the snow in what was to become one of the worst snowstorms in NYC history. An activist carried a sign into the lobby just to see if Jeffrey Barker was at home and perhaps wanted to chat with us. Other activists pressed their posters up against the lobby windows causing the doormen to call the NYPD. When the police came, protesters were back on the sidewalk and continued the loud and heated protest for some time.

Location #2
Next up was one of our most popular locations, the exclusive apartment building of Sir Deryck Maughan, jet setting board member of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). GSK remains one of the largest customers of Huntingdon Life Sciences. Maughan's neighbors remain both fascinated and very supportive of our efforts. Many approach us asking for literature and promising to check out our website. We always enjoy our visits to this posh Park Avenue neighborhood. Activists chanted…”we'll be back….we'll be back”. No doubt they believe us, as we have been here many times in the recent past.

Location #3
As the snow started getting heavier, we headed out….film crew tagging along on our subway ride downtown to the Greenwich Village apartment of Robert Schaffer of The Vertical Group. Vertical Group continues to trade shares in LSRI (aka HLS) on the Pink Sheets. Activists wonder if Vertical is poised to take advantage of the fire sale when everyone starts dumping their LSRI stock.

Once again, neighbors watched from their windows and then came out in the snow to find out which neighbor was the “Puppy Killer” living among them. Schaffer's next door neighbors were upset to see what Robert's company invested in. They were given an info packet with a DVD of “The Truth” and we were gratified to see them watching the movie. Excellent high energy protest.

Location #4
Before leaving Greenwich Village, we dropped by the address of another Bank of America executive on Sullivan Street. We spoke to the wife of Brian Badertscher on their intercom and it was clear that if he was in the apartment, he wasn't interested in coming down to hear what we had to say. Again, with cameras rolling, we pulled out our graphic signs and posters and began our loud chanting. Neighbors stood listening from doorways and other approached to ask for literature.

It was freezing cold out, yet, one man came out of his building in a t-shirt and came close to assaulting the activist leading the chants. Seems this man was happy that we were protesting and exercising our constitutional rights, he was just upset that he could hear us. He screamed at us that he wanted us to protest more quietly. DUH! We thought that the point of a protest was to be heard? Since Brian and his wife live on the 6 th floor, we had to be loud to be heard. The irate man in his t-shirt with bulging eyes and throbbing veins in his temples just didn't get it. We explained that we would leave just as soon as Bank of America divests their LSRI stock. Until then, we will keep coming back…..over and over…..louder and louder until our message is heard.
