Wednesday, February 3, 2010 Protest at Kings County Courthouse where Oreo's Abuser is to be Sentenced ASPCA Killed Oreo - Why Aren't They Being Held Accountable? Once again, animal rights activists gathered at the Kings County Courthouse to bear witness to the sentencing of Oreo's first abuser, Fabian Henderson. Henderson's sentencing has been postponed several times. Meanwhile, Henderson has remained in custody. In it's continuing campaign to hold the ASSPCA accountable, activists unveiled a new banner with the letters ASPCA describing them as "Arrogant", "Shameful", "Phoney", "Callous" and "Animal Abusers & Killers". WAR's leader Camille Hankins claimed: "Henderson was the one that threw Oreo off that roof, but it was the ASPCA that murdered her. She had a place to go. Pets Alive offered Oreo sanctuary and a home. She should not have been killed". |
