Protest at the Japanese Consulate Office in New York City

In Solidarity with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

Activists Gather in NYC to Speak Out Against Whale Slaughter and Sinking of the Ady Gil by Japan

Once again, activists gathered in front of the Park Avenue building that houses the Japanese Consulate in New York City. As always, this busy pedestrian thoroughfare provided an excellent opportunity to educate passersby about the illegal Japanese whale hunt in the Southern Ocean and their hostile action against the Sea Shepherd whaled defenders.

Special newly created signs, advocated for Justice for the Ady Gil. This was Ady Gil's maiden voyage for Sea Shepherd and sadly, it was also her last as a Japanese ship cut her bow off in an illegal and aggressive action and sank the Ady Gil.

The newly christened Bob Barker and her crew witness the entire scene and luckily the crew were not seriously injured.

Voices of the activists were raised to call out for justice for the sinking of the Ady Gil. Shout outs brought the focus of attention back on the whales being killed by the Japanese.

How long will we have to put up with the aggressive and illegal actions of the Japanese government in their blood lust to kill whales.
