![]() ![]() On February 13, 2008, animal advocates, around the world, will be gathering at the Embassy and Consulate offices of the People's Republic of China to join together to protest the Chinese fur trade. Why are we protesting China's fur trade? Because, in addition to raising and trapping wild animals for their fur which is horrible enough, the Chinese breed domestic animals, like dogs and cats, in horrific conditions and because they skin animals alive to pander to the international appetite for cruel fur fashions. Due to a winter storm, the February 13th protest was postponed. Check back for details about this year's New York City observance of this global day of protest. Help stop the brutal slaughter of animals by China.
